Bardonecchia Snowpark

Bardonecchia Snowpark is situated in the area of Melezet and has a 4-seater chairlift. The park has a vertical drop of 1100 metres and is made up of a number of dedicated areas including one for jumps and artificial structures and another area which houses the Olympic Halfpipe, which is surrounded by trees in the purest tradition of the biggest American Parks.
The snowpark has been designed to provide for different needs and different levels of snowboarders: from professional riders to first-timers. Within the park itself there are a range of structures differing in size and dimension.
The Bardonecchia Snowpark, entirely equipped with a new sound system to accompany all the freestyle figures of the riders, is divided up according to the difficulty of the structures:
RED PARK medium-pro area for more demanding riders.
BLUE PARK beginner area, appropriate for riders with little experience.
BURTON PROGESSIVE PARK: beginner and child area

Beginning this season, the Burton Progressive Park will be equipped with two moving walkways.
The quantity and variety of rails and boxes is unique in Italy – there are traditional boxes, wallrides, c-boxes and rainbows as well as more innovative structures such as the container box! Another new addition is a rail made entirely of wood and a jibbing area.
The novelty of this season is the Jibbing PRO piste, which lasts more than 600 meters across the wood.
The icing on the cake is the Olympic Halfpipe, an imposing structure which is 130 metres long, 18 metres wide and 6 metres high and is the only Olympic halfpipe in Europe. From January 28th, 2012, it will be opened every Saturday by night, which will allow you to challenge the professionals, and to enjoy the evenings in the Lounge Area.
The LOUNGE AREA, managed by YOURIDE is located around the frebab at the bottom of the half-pipe. It will be open every day this year, offering a free Wifi connection, videogames and video zone, sofas, helmets, a Skullcandy zone, parties every week and numerous other animations.
A sound system runs through the entire snowpark and right at the bottom of the halfpipe there are two bars, snow and freestyle schools, a hire shop for boards and twin tips.
